Every once in a while I am humbled to be a part of a great event that makes a true difference in our local community. This event was one of them. On Saturday 3/12/16, Carrie Steel-Pitts Home held a great gala and fundraiser to honor VIP's that have made contributions to the children's home. Ludacris was in Texas and his wife Eudoxie Bridges accepted the award for the couple. Other honorees were Michael and Donata Ross, Bishop and Annette Eikerenkotter, Rev Eikerenkotter, and Roberta Shields. Actress Victoria Rowell, a long time supporter of the home, was the Mistress of Ceremony.
