Location, Location, Location!
We’ve all heard the mantra – location, location, location. It is THE rule in real estate and if you are doing a shoot outside it should be your #1 rule as well.
Stella’s Six Tips for a Stellar Location Photo shoot:
The first step is to select the best location!
Be willing to put the time in to explore and scout a few great locations.
Visit the chosen location at the TIME you plan on doing the shoot being conscious of available light.
Wear appropriate clothing for the site and for the shoot!
Be prepared – bring lighting gear, props, etc. as well as your notes and photo ideas
Identify a Plan B – weather issues, clothing malfunctions, lighting challenges, you name it – put your mind at ease by having a backup plan!
The following few shots capture one of my favorite Meet & Shoots at the beautiful Lake Lanier.
